Welcome to Kalvbergsåsens Islandshästar!

Confident, well educated horses, and delightful ridning experiences in lovely nature. That is the basic ambition for Kalvbergsåsens Islandshästar, which I, Helen Berg, have conducted for about 20 years.

The happy and kind horses are regularly trained in order to get nice, separated gaits. 

We are always riding! Summer and sun, winter and snow, spring and autumn – come and ride with us at any time of the year. During longer tours we bring with us Swedish ‘fika’ (coffee and snacks) for a break in the nature. If You prefer to bring Your own packed lunch, welcome to use our cosy garret.

TOUR RIDING

Come along and try tölt and gallop on soft forest trails and winding gravel roads. Or if you are a beginner, just enjoy the nature from horseback at a calm pace. We have an abundance of trails in beautiful nature to explore together with lovely Islandic horses.

All tours begin with a short instruction at the riding track.
We adapt the tours according to our visitors’ level of experience. Children are welcome to participate if they have riding experience. Otherwise, we recommend our special children’s tours, where each horse is led by an adult ride leader.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Maximum weight: 90 kg.
Booking is binding, cancellation has to be made one week before the tour.
Helmets can be borrowed.

20-minute children’s tour (every horse led by a ride leader) SEK 300

1 hour tour: SEK 550
1.5 hours tour: SEK 650
2 hours tour: SEK 750
3 hours tour: SEK 950 (’fika’ is included)
4 hours tour: SEK 1150 (‘fika’ is included)

The Prästmyren tour: 1200 (‘fika’ is included)
Whole Day tour: 1350 (light lunch included)

Private lesson:
30 minutes: SEK 450
45 minutes: SEK 700

Private lessons for two: SEK 50 discount for both.
Private tour with instructions 50 minutes: SEK 650.
